WEB
DESIGN

FOR THE

COSTA
BLANCA.
Built in Polop for businesses that serve the whole coast.

DABA is an independent studio in Polop, Alicante. We design and build custom websites for businesses on the Costa Blanca — sites that work for the people next door and for customers who arrive in English, Dutch or Spanish.

The local reality

What a website here actually has to do.

A website on the Costa Blanca rarely has one audience.

The same restaurant, clinic, builder or property service may be found by a Spanish neighbour, a long-term resident from the UK or the Netherlands, a family on a two-week holiday, and the owner of a second home who is back in another country for most of the year.

Each of them arrives with different expectations: another language, another device, another degree of urgency. One translated homepage does not cover that. The site has to make the next step obvious — book, request a quote, find the address, call — in whichever language the visitor thinks in.

That is what we design for. Not a prettier brochure, but a website that helps the business answer the right customer at the right moment.

What decides it

Local business. International audience.

Four things decide whether a website works for a business like that.

  1. 01

Languages that are structured, not bolted on

Separate language routes, correct language signals for search engines and copy written for each audience, not just translated. Switching language is easy to find from every page.

  2. 02

    Designed for the phone first

Many first visits happen on a phone: on a terrace, in a car, between appointments. Layouts, tap targets and flows are built for that moment, then expanded for larger screens.

  3. 03

Contact, booking and quote paths that need no guessing

A clear way to book, enquire or ask for a quote, with the address, map and phone details exactly where visitors look for them.

  4. 04

Fast, even on a mobile connection

Lean pages, optimised images and stable layouts matter most when many people are looking at once, on whatever connection they have.

Where this matters

Sectors where this mix of audiences is common.

This is not a client list. It is the kind of business whose website tends to carry local and international customers at once — and what that website usually needs to do.

  1. 01

    Hospitality & restaurants

Menus, reservations and ordering that work for guests in several languages.

  2. 02

    Tourism & experiences

Availability, booking and clear practical information before people arrive.

  3. 03

    Property services & real estate

Property presentation and enquiry flows for buyers, renters and owners who live abroad.

  4. 04

    Construction & trades

Project presentation and quote flows that qualify the job before the first call.

  5. 05

    Air conditioning & pool services

Service requests, maintenance enquiries and quotes that are easy to send from a phone.

  6. 06

    Professional services

Clear expertise and simple appointment paths, in the client’s own language.

  7. 07

    Local retail

Product presentation and ordering for shops that sell beyond their own door.

Custom, not templated

Every site is built around the business.

None of this comes from a template. Each project starts with what the business needs, and booking, quote flows, ordering, payments or integrations are added only where they earn their place. Existing tools stay in place when they work.

If you want to know what that means in practice, this is how we think about it: Custom websites by DABA and how a project runs from first brief to launch.

Across the coast

From Polop, along the coast.

We are glad to meet locally, and everything else works just as well online.
